Weaving is one of the oldest crafts in human history – and today it is experiencing a renewed appreciation. In the idyllic Val Schons, with views of the mountains, Webstall Pignia invites you to rediscover this ancient craft.
The course is led by Stini Arn, who grew up with the art of weaving and shares her knowledge with calmness and joy. At one of four prepared looms, you will learn the basics of weaving with a shuttle. In a quiet and creative atmosphere, your own woven piece gradually takes shape – for example a kitchen towel, table runner, rug, or a small personal textile work.
Weaving combines rhythm, concentration, and handcraft in a unique way. The steady movement of warp and weft has a slowing, almost meditative effect, creating space to step away from everyday life for a few hours.
Learn weaving with no prior experience: creative, slow-paced, and handmade.
Step by step, you will create your own unique piece on the loom – for example a towel, table mat, pot holders, a small rug, or your own personal project.
