A red thread

In ancient Asian folklore, there is an invisible red thread that connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. It may stretch or tangle, but it will never break.

30 October-1 November 2026

or 13-15 November

a red thread is an immersive, three-day creative retreat where the ancient craft of weaving meets the art of personal narrative and storytelling.

Over one weekend, we will slow down, connect with a small community of makers, and trace our life stories, connections, and memories. Using color, texture, and yarn and looms we will translate our personal journeys into a unique, tangible textile tapestry. In the process we will calm our minds, reflect, and discover the beautiful patterns that connect us all.
