Mali Sound
Stini Arn made numerous field recordings in Mali in 2004 and 2010. In 2011, she composed a radio play for DRS 2 based on these recordings.
During her stay in Mali from 2013 to 2023, she was active as a musician in a duo, taught music at the American International School of Bamako (AISB), and took balafon lessons herself. She also discussed her experiences and artistic work in Mali in a podcast interview with Kabakoo.
